Don French and Sons started business in 1984 as a builder of log homes. The founder, Don French, brought 16 years of experience in the log home construction market with him when he founded Don French and Sons. Don’s son, Warren, joined the firm shortly after it’s founding and is now the second-generation owner of the business. The last 20 years have seen the development of the additional skills needed to build post and beam homes and Timberframe homes. It is our intention now to take those skills and specialize in the construction of Timberframes to fit the needs and dreams of those who want a unique house that has the charm of a home built 250 years ago.
Warren French took over the operation of the business in July of 1998. It is his desire to do Timberframe’s that has led the company in its new direction. Over the years he has developed many skills in Timberframe designs for himself and others.
It is our hope that a building of this quality will be loved and taken care of for the next two or three hundred years. With good fortune it can become an heirloom within your family.
